Fresh Out the Oven: 'What You Want' by Evanescence

It's been four years since Evanescence released their sophomore album 'The Open Door' so it's about time we got some new music from them.  If you know me you'll know that Evanescence is my favorite band of all time, and I personally believe that lead singer Amy Lee is one of the best vocalists in the world.  Not many can be compared to her prowess.  Serving as the lead single off their upcoming third album aptly named 'Evanescence', 'What You Want' can be in many ways compared to their older, heavier material, but with much more mature and innovative vocal stylings and instrumentation.  It's a great way to return the band into the spotlight, and I cannot wait to see what Amy has in store for us.  The album is set to be released in October, and I could not be happier.  Evanescence are at the top of their game like always, and their upcoming album is sure to be their best yet.  Below, check out the very first live performance of 'What You Want'.

  1. I love the new single, it's awesome, as you said it's heavier and i like it so fucking much, 'cause now they have nothing to prove, so they decided to make music nothing more but pretty great rock music, and i can't wait to hear the complete album. Evanescence rocks.
