It seems like every artist these days is trying to cash in on remixes, and they're trying to make their singles more successful.  While sometimes it's great to have a remix to put a fresh spin on an old song, it's kind of annoying if the remix doesn't really do anything for the song.  Katy chose to remix her latest single 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)' and feature Missy Elliott.  This is the first we've heard Missy in a long time, but I have to say that her feature wasn't all that great.  It was just "blah" and didn't add anything to the song.  It also sounds similar to Nicki's feature on 'Till the World Ends' so I also think that it lacks some originality.  I love Missy Elliott and all but this was not the best way to come back into the spotlight.  Take a listen and let me know what you think, but I have to say that I'm disappointed.
