'Easy' by Son Lux featuring Lorde

Lorde's career has exploded over the last few months, and she even had the honor of performing at the GRAMMYs this year. She may not be everyone's cup of tea (she's actually losing a lot of my attention), but there's no doubt she's a talented artist. She keeps popping up in the most likely of places, and this may be the most bizarre yet.

NYC-based post-rock artist Son Lux has crafted her own take on the song 'Easy' and Lorde provides the vocals. To say this is a weird song is an understatement. It's hard to even define what genre this is: it may be trip-hop but who's really to say? The fact of the matter is that this creepy synth-driven tune fits Lorde's emotionally dark persona in the most perfect way possible as her somber vocals accompany the popping beat of the drums. It's frightening, but I can't get enough of it.
