'Magic' is much more the usual Coldplay than 'Midnight' was, but at the same time it's quite different than what they crafted for Mylo Xyloto. 'Magic' is a much more tangible, and earthy sound relying on guitars and drums to carry the song. But the song isn't without a mystical element to it that makes it uniquely anthemic in true Coldplay fashion. This sounds very '90s easy rock which I love so I'm excited to see what this new album has in store for us.
