It's been an excruciating wait, but the Swedish duo have finally released the video for their hit single. Just as with their music, they give their video an artistic touch that makes it so much more than a vapid promo for their song. The video follows their marketing scheme, filmed in black and white and almost has a film noir/Almodovar feel.
The 'Do It Again' video is six minutes of rebellion, love, sex, and abandonment. It takes place in Mexico as we see a couple getting it on, a woman who seems to be stealing famous statues, couples being beaten and so much more. It's dark, it's gritty, it's powerful. I can't really expect much more from these masterminds of pop.
