'He Ain't Goin' Nowhere' by Jennifer Hudson featuring Iggy Azalea

Jennifer Hudson's brand new album will be released next week, and in anticipation she has dropped a new buzz track featuring the it girl of the moment, Iggy Azalea. Her past few songs haven't been anything to rave about, and I'm not sure how JHUD is going to to turn out, but this new one's giving me hope.

'He Ain't Goin' Nowhere' was produced by Pharrell and is a song that Jennifer just wanted people to listen to and forget about all their problems. Just dance! The song borrows from '60s and '70s soul, but has been updated with rumbling bass and guitar strumming infesting your ears to give it that current edge.

“Whisper in his ear it makes it hotter / Don’t wipe the sweat it makes it better,” Jennifer sexily coos over the bass. Iggy follows her with a strong verse that adds the perfect edge to the track. It's dripping with swagger, and I haven't loved something from J-Hud this much since 'Where You At'.

Jennifer Hudson's third studio album, JHUD, will be out on September 23rd.
