British Invasion: Cheryl Cole

With Adele storming America, and other British artists like Amy Winehouse and Taio Cruz infecting America with their music, we have ourselves another British Invasion.  Cheryl Cole, most famous for being a member of Girls Aloud (the British equivalent of the Spice Girls/Pussycat Dolls), is one of Britain's hottest musicians at the moment.  Simon Cowell brought her on to the judging panel of The X Factor and she basically won over Britan's hearts.  I have come to adore her and her music, and I hope that she soon will begin taking over the U.S.  She is extremely talented and has the greatest personality.
Cheryl was originally supposed to be a judge on the U.S. version of The X Factor, but it's been confirmed that Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls will be taking her spot.  It's such a shame because she could have taken over the U.S., but I guess we'll just have to wait a little longer.  Will.i.am really helped jumpstart her solo career, and she could be huge here if America falls in love with her the way the U.K. has.  She's released two albums thus far, '3 Words' and 'Messy Little Raindrops'.  Take a look at some of her work below.
