'Mean Girls' Music Video by Rachel Crow
Remember the thirteen year old who auditioned last year on The X Factor USA and blew the judges away? And remember when she was cruelly eliminated by Nicole Scherzinger and she had meltdown on stage? Well, the powerhouse singer (my favorite contestant of the season) has released her first single off her upcoming EP, and she has also released the music video for the song, 'Mean Girls'. Rachel's record label is very smart by having her release a song (which she co-wrote) about her experience being bullied. To begin with, the song is actually very catchy, and although it tackles a difficult topic like bullying, Rachel still keeps it young and relatable. There is no doubt in my mind that she is going to have a very successful career ahead of her. The music video for the song is a stop motion chalkboard video. Rachel kept it very simple, but nevertheless the message still gets across and it's an entertaining video. We have a new big star in our midst and I can't wait to see where her career is going to go from here.
