RuPaul's Drag Race Season 6: Sissy That Walk

This week's Drag Race saw the last week of competition as the Final Four battled it out to secure a spot in the finale. With last week's upset that saw BenDeLaCreme go home too soon, Darienne is fighting against the current to keep up with the other three. We all know what the final week of competition means: music video! As there is so much preparation that goes into the filming of the video, there is no mini-challenge this week.

Michelle Visage made her once-a-season entrance into the Werk-room to task the girls with their challenge. They will be shooting the music video for RuPaul's new single 'Sissy That Walk' for which they will have to learn sissy-ography and act in three different scenes. Oh, and of course they get to have lunch with Mama Ru.
Famed choreographer Jamal, who made quite a few appearances on RuPaul's Drag U, comes in to teach the girls their sissy-ography. Adore and Courtney naturally excel while Darienne and Bianca struggle. But as always Bianca cracks us up in the process. When it gets to filming, Adore busts it out and is easily the best lip syncer.
I personally loved that there were three acting scenes this year because these girls are all fiercely talented personalities, and they turned it out. But, these were some crazy weird scenes. The video tells the tale of Sissy the ingenue who comes to the big city to become a star, but ultimately loses everything because of alcohol dependence. Adore once again stole the show, with Bianca a close second. And can I say how much I loved seeing Ru in boy drag this year? It. Was. Awesome. And his Australian accent had me rolling on the floor howling.

Adore Delano
Adore came out in a sparkling short beaded dress that was gorgeous. Yes, I don't like the wig but this is by far the best she has looked this season. Based on this challenge, Adore should win the show. Like last year with Alaska, she turned this challenge out and destroyed the competition, however, one other contestant has been more consistent this season...

Bianca Del Rio
Bianca comes out in a stunning blue gown with red hair which perfectly accents her look. It's nothing we haven't already seen, but she looks amazing. This week Bianca sort of faded into the background. Being sexy doing choreography isn't her thing, but she made up for it with her acting.

Courtney Act
Was Courtney even here this week? Her runway look was stunning and showed how fishy she really is (and the wig is giving me life), but she was boring in this challenge. She overdid her lip syncing and her final acting scene was all schtick. I really expected more from Courtney this season.

Darienne Lake
I have to say, Darienne turned it out this week. On the runway she easily had her best look so far even if it's the same silhouette. Like with Bianca, the blue dress and red hair are a striking combination. Her lip syncing was fierce even if she stole Adore's move. Her acting scenes were strong when she wasn't over-doing it.

Before Ru gets to the elimination, she asks the girls why they think they should be America's Next Drag Superstar. Adore and Bianca both spoke eloquently and there's no reason why they shouldn't be the Top Two. Courtney was just egotistical and Darienne was bitchy. To make her final decision, Ru has the girls lip sync for their lives one last time, and with four queens on stage at once it's a legendary moment.
In the end, Darienne Lake is told to sashay away. It's really no surprise, and I definitely don't think she deserved to be in the Top Three. So who's gonna win it all? My money's still on Bianca. But there are rumors that a tie might happen which would actually piss me off. But we shall see. Check out the Countdown to the Crown special this week, and then tune in next Monday night for Reunited where your next drag superstar will be crowned.
