This week we entered the YouTube submission round.  Twelve acts were chosen by the judges to compete on the show, and this was the first time they had ever performed live on the show.  It was quite a disappointing show to be honest, but in that they were a few good performances.

Breena Bell
Yes, this girl would never be an act in Vegas, but I think she was just so cute and adorable.  Plus, she is actually a great contortionist.  Like Piers said, I think she should train harder and then compete in the Olympics because that is where she would shine.

Gymkana
This act was probably my favorite of the night.  The visual aspect is simply stunning.  The shapes and the movement they made with their bodies was so beautiful and I can't wait to see what they have in store for us next.

West Springfield Dance Team
These kids are a great dance act.  I love the dark and mysterious theme to their dancing, and that just added an extra element to their whole performance.  When they did the boat move that was my favorite visual aspect of the performance.  I think they will advance far in the competition.

Matt Wilhelm
This was a really cool act that incorporated some of the most interesting acts that are on the show or have been on the show.  It was a bike stunt act that utilized a backlight and some great visual moments.  I definitely think he'll go far in the competition.

We are almost done with the quarter-finals (thankfully).  Next week is the wild card round, and then we will finally get to the semi-finals.  Does this show ever end?
