'L.A.LOVE (la la)' by Fergie
It's been eons since the baddest bitch of the Black Eyed Peas, the Dutchess herself, Fergie graced our ears. Well, not eons, but her final single from The Dutchess was released in 2008 and 6 years with no Fergie-ferg is dreadful. But at last that's all changed and she's back.
Fergie's been hard at work on her second studio album for some time now, and while we still don't have a title or a release date, the first single is here. Ahead of its official release tomorrow, 'L.A.LOVE (la la)' has leaked. The DJ Mustard-produced track is more than I could have ever asked for tbh.
Bringing back her glamorous roots, she gets down hard on this fergalicious track where she raps a bit over the grooving baseline (she even references London oh, shit!). But it's that impactful, euphoric chorus that's going to score her some major points with listeners. Fergie's a gem, and her unique blending of hip-hop and pop is ready to take over again.
It was well worth the wait. She's got me hook, line and sinker...
