'Something In the Water' by Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood recently revealed that she's pregnant and is on her journey to becoming a mother and starting a family, but that doesn't mean she's neglecting her fans. Instead of releasing a new album which she wouldn't be able to properly promote, she's releasing a greatest hits album instead. Greatest Hits: Decade #1 will be released this winter with a few original songs.

The first single and original track to be released from the compilation is 'Something In the Water' and wow. This has to be one of Carrie Underwood's strongest releases ever. The song is a beautiful country ballad that sees Carrie singing about meeting (we presume) God down at the water.

She sings, "He said: just a little faith and it'll all get better / So I followed that preacher man down to the river and now I'm changed / And now I'm stronger." Boy is she stronger, indeed. That chorus is everything as Carrie belts it out. She's sending shivers down my spine. The song is so powerful you won't easily forget it.

Carrie Underwood's Greatest Hits: Deacde #1 will be released on December 9th.
