Carrie Underwood's new video for her second single 'Blown Away' just premiered a few minutes ago, and now here we have it! 'Blown Away' was easily my favorite song off the album of the same name so it's great to finally get a visual to go along with the song. The video is almost a literal blow-by-blow of the lyrics, but that doesn't hamper it's superbness. Carrie is seen with her father who we quickly realize is a drunk, and after he gets physical with her she leaves. But as she's walking away a tornado begins and she goes back to save her father. He won't wake up so she locks herself in the storm shelter while here father is lying on the couch right in the tornado's path. The video is interspersed with scenes of her father going on drunken rampages, and it is up to the viewer to decide whether or not her father lives or dies at the end. We see a rainbow appear but no house in sight so this may be quite a morbid video. I loved it, though, and I liked the cartoonish elements in it because they are reminiscent of The Wizard of Oz.
