'CinderFella' Music Video by Todrick Hall

For those of you who are big Idol fans, you may recognize the name Todrick Hall. Todrick was a contestant on season 9 of the show. He was one of my favorites and showed a lot of potential, but unfortunately he was eliminated in the Top 16 round. I haven't heard a peep about him until this morning when he debuted this very great video. This may be one of the most creative pieces of art I've seen in years. In 'CinderFella', as you can guess, Todrick takes the classic Cinderella fairytale and gender-bends it. Todrick plays CinderFella who is tormented by his evil stepsisters (played by RuPaul's Drag Race veteran queens Shangela and Willam), gets transformed by his fairy godmother (YouTube star Glozell), goes to the ball where we see Alice [in Wonderland] (singer Aubrey O'Day) and meets his Prince Charming (*NSYNC member Lance Bass). The video is a highly creative piece that uses popular Top 40s tunes with new lyrics, and the whole point of the video, as it states in the end, is to "legalize love." It's great to see people creating art that speaks volumes, and hopefully this will spread like wildfire across the interwebs. Hopefully we'll see more from Todrick because this shows just how creative of an artist he really is.
