'Vacation' by G.R.L.

G.R.L. is the "new incarnation" of the Pussycat Dolls, created by Robin Antin. I doubt they're going to have much success in the music scene, just as Robin's Girlicious have only had success in Canada. But being featured on the soundtrack to The Smurfs 2, as well as the B-Side on Britney's 'Ooh La La' single is a pretty big deal. The group is going for the dance pop sound that is ever so popular right now, and while it's not that great or strong of a song, I have hope for them. They've got some good vocalists in the group, including Simone Battle who was a pop-star-in-the-making on Season 1 of The X Factor. 'Vacation' is a fun summer pop track that's easy to sing along to and might even make you bop your head, but apart from that it's lacking a certain oomph. G.R.L. will stay on my radar, but let's face it, Nicole Scherzinger is the reason why the Pussycat Dolls thrived and she's also the reason why they failed. Give me what you got, Robin!

And here's a cute little video of Britney promoting the new girl group:
