Last night No Doubt premiered their music video for their new single 'Settle Down' and it could not have been more perfect. In the video, the members of the band are truckers and they are on their way to meet for a grand ole trucker dancehall party! These truckers have not seen each other in over ten years which is meant to parallel the band's own separation. They all come together and then just have fun with all their friends. What's really striking about the video, to me, is Gwen Stefani herself. Even though it's been ten years, she hasn't aged a bit and still looks like she did when the band first got their start. What's cool about this is that it makes it seem as if the band never disappeared from music for those excruciatingly long ten years. While simple, the video is a perfect way to kickstart the new No Doubt era.
