Little Mix won The X Factor UK back in December, and they are almost ready to release their debut album. The first single off the album, 'Wings', went above and beyond my expectations for them. The X Factor UK have made sure that all of their artists put out incredible music, and they definitely are able to stand up against the likes of Rihanna and Lady GaGa. 'Wings' is the perfect style for them mixing pop with some urban/R&B flavor and throwing in some girl power. The song reminds me a lot of Gwen Stefani's music which had the urban flare to it as well. Almost a cheerleader-esque song with some motivational lyrics thrown in, 'Wings' is going to propel the girl group to the top of the charts, and I'm sure it'll only be a matter of months before they're shipped off to the states to dominate the charts just like One Direction. I'm really excited to hear their debut album now because this song is exactly the direction I wanted them to take.
