Remember yesterday when Mariah Carey premiered her new single 'Triumphant'? Well, just one short day later she has released an alternate mix of the song known as the "Vintage Throwback Remix". Is it any better than the original? YES! The song is easily 50x better in this format. The song gets rid of Rick Ross and Meek Mill and features Mimi front and center. You can actually hear the great R&B beat without the rap hiding it, and Mariah's voice soars over the beat. The song is a lot of fun, and I can definitely hear this version being played on the radio. I am so glad she released this because I was sorely disappointed yesterday. I think this proves Mimi doesn't need to rely on other artists to help her songs: she does just fine on her own. Get 'em, Mariah!
