The X Factor USA 2012: Gif Style

The X Factor is my favorite competition show to ever be on television, and so last year I was super excited for it. Unfortunately, it wasn't anywhere near as good as it could have been with Nicole Scherzinger's atrocious judging skills and Paula Abdul was just dead weight. Thankfully the show got an overhaul and brought on Demi Lovato and the legendary Britney Spears. So far these two have proved they deserve to be regarded as mentors and judges. But the thing everyone has been talking about this season is Britney Spears, but more specifically the faces she makes. Anyone who has been a fan of Britney's for years will know that she is a complete goofball, and after many years of being shut down and private, her personality is coming back. The show could not have been a better experience for her so in order to celebrate that (and keep us busy until the live shows air) I thought I'd compile a post of my favorite gifs from the season thus far. Enjoy!

If there's any one gif that sums up Britney's judging style it's this one. It's just sheer perfection.

Britney was already making faces during press interviews before the show even began airing.

I love this one because it's her "you're boring me so get off the stage now" look.

This has nothing to do with judging, but I love it because it's like a "B!tch, please" gif.

THE best gif so far comes from the final Judges' Houses episode where Britney had to send two contestants home. After she sent the first home she made this face which had me cracking up hysterically. Does it get better than this?!

Also, one of the things I love about her judging style is that she doesn't give in to the whole drama aspect of the show. When she was chosen as a judge everyone thought she would be the nice one, basically the new Paula. However, Britney has proven (with these gifs) that she can be very harsh and very blunt. And most of the time her face does all the work without her having to say a word. When she sent home the first of the teens she basically was like "you suck, go home." Instead of playing it up for the camera and being like "This was a very difficult decision, and unfortunately you will not be going to the live shows. I'm very sorry," Britney looked at him, gave him a slight smirk and said "You're going home sweetie." And that was it. It was short, curt and to the point. I love it because she's obviously not doing what the producers want and she's just being herself. Well that's all for now, and I cannot wait to see what she does on the Live Shows come November.
