I love the pop/dance Nicki that is tearing up the radio at the moment, but her classic R&B/rap style is what I love her for. Thankfully, with the release of Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded - The Re-Up on the 19th quickly approaching, Nicki Minaj has released the first single off the re-release. 'Freedom' is everything that's perfect about Nicki, and it has the same style as songs like 'Save Me', 'Dear Old Nicki' and 'Marilyn Monroe'. It's a beautiful empowerment anthem about finally having freedom. Nicki gets the chance to show off why she is such a talented artist, and an amazing rapper. I'm hoping the rest of the new songs will be more "Old Nicki" because I feel like she's lost a lot of credibility over the past year and she needs to prove why she's as successful as she is.
