'One Night In Bangkok' 3D Music Video by Manila Luzon
Manila Luzon is back with another music video, and this time she's going off the beaten path (well, for a drag queen, that is). Manila this time around is doing a cover of Murray Head's 'One Night In Bangkok' in 3D. Yes, you heard that right, children. Manila is the first queen to release a music video in 3D, just proving that she's once again the cream of the crop. But to be quite honest, I'm not feeling this. I can understand why she wanted to try something different with this song, but it's just not working. And the video is really low budget and quite boring. The video just takes place in a karaoke bar as Manila sings. The highlight was, as always, Manila's sickening couture that always is ahead of others and of course the scene where Manila plays up her Asian stereotypes and orders delivery. That had me howling with laughter, but it really wasn't enough to save the video. As for the 3D, don't expect any Avatar stuff, but the scenes where there are three of Ms. Luzon look pretty great. Manila's releasing her first ever rap track with Cazwell pretty soon, so I'm hoping 'Hellen Keller' and the debut of Manila's new persona SpongeBabs with erase this from my memory.
