The Chainsmokers are back with yet another remix, this time taking on Icona Pop's 'Girlfriend' from their debut album This Is... Icona Pop. The remix is really interesting, taking a completely different spin on the original track. It starts off very dance-y, and then after the first chorus the beat drops out and turns in to a sound polar opposite from the original which then gradually builds. It's different than the other Chainsmokers remixes I've listened to which shows their diversity. While it may not be my favorite rendition of the song, it definitely is something worth listening to.
