Disclosure are a garage-house duo from the U.K. that released their debut album back in May. In October of 2012 the duo released their first single 'Latch' featuring the vocals of Sam Smith. Despite going on to peak at #11 on the charts, the band will be releasing the single here in the U.S. this month. And for this I could not be more excited. The song is very Euro-pop, reminding me so much of Sam Sparro's 'Black and Gold' which was a huge hit back in 2008. I completely understand why this song has been a huge hit in the U.K. with its infectious club beats, but I'm not entirely sure how radio will embrace it here in the U.S. Hopefully this will kick start the resurgence in popularity of U.K. house music because you really can't go wrong with this stuff. And how can you not love the music video for this song? It's sexy, it's different, and there's a lesbian couple as the main focus. You can bet I'll be getting their debut album, and helping them spread the love.
