'Show Me What You Got' by G.R.L.

G.R.L. captured my heart last summer when they released their debut single 'Vacation' which was featured on The Smurfs 2 soundtrack alongside Britney Spears' 'Ooh La La'. As they're prepping the release of their debut album, the girl group have just released a brand new buzz single which is featured as a bonus track on the new That's What I Call Music - Vol. 49. The song is written by Max Martin and Dr. Luke so you know it's going to be instantly recognizable and addictive. It's an upbeat bop of a track backed by a thumping beat that fits their brand and style well. I'm not too big a fan of the chorus as it's a bit annoying, but I love when the song takes an urban turn during the verses as well as the guitar towards the end. It's another solid offering from G.R.L. and I think it'll tide me over until we get a proper release from the girls.
