Shakira's upcoming self-titled studio album Shakira. is due out next week and the album is beginning to leak track by track. The Latin diva gave us a guitar-pop track with 'Can't Remember to Forget You' that featured Rihanna which was meant to be a huge hit but ultimately got stale too fast. Then she released 'Empire' and brought back the old Shak with an anthemic chorus which is one of the best things she's released in years. But this new one is going in a completely different direction.

The new track 'Dare (La La La)' is written and produced by Dr. Luke and Max Martin which should give you some clue as to what style it's going to be. 'Dare' is an explosive EDM track that is unlike Shakira has ever experimented with before and I quite like it. I never expected to hear Shak saying "leggo" but it's fun. I think Usher may be rubbing off on her. It's a massive tune that'll be a hit in the clubs for sure. I'm not sure how this album is going to sound cohesively as a unit because every track we've gotten so far is different, but I'm holding out hope.
