RuPaul's Drag Race Season 6: Glitter Ball

This week on Drag Race the girls display their opulence in the famed ball challenge that puts their creativity to the test. Before things heat up though, the girls have a little fun. Everybody loves puppets! Right? For the mini-challenge, the girls have to read each other the house down by picking a puppet of their fellow queens (through a glory hole because why not) and dragging it up.
Adore chose DeLa and actually nailed her. She got DeLa's voice so accurately that it was actually frightening. Darienne wasn't funny - she was just hateful as she tried impersonating Courtney. Bianca was naturally funny, but it was all about DeLa. She got Bianca and nailed her to a T. From the voice to her personality, it was only right she won the challenge.
For this week's main challenge, the girls are tasked with creating three different looks: Banjee Girl Bling, Platinum Card Executive Realness, and Dripping In Jewels Eleganza. The queens must make at least one outfit from scratch. For winning the mini-challenge, DeLa gets to assign the girls their jewel tones, and showing her caring nature she gives Adore diamond because it's the easiest to work with.

Adore Delano
Adore is the only contestant to really pull off the banjee look. She nailed it. Her Executive look was her downfall though. It was just not pleasing. However, she thoroughly impressed with her diamond look. I think this is one of her best looks throughout the entire competition. And considering that was the outfit she made from scratch, she's finally realizing her potential.

Bianca Del Rio
Bianca faltered this week. I liked her banjee look, but it was more Lucy Ricardo than anything else. Her Executive look was very '70s secretary but I liked it. Her sapphire gown was just blah. It was a silhouette we've seen before and just wasn't exciting.

Courtney Act
Courtney delivered on most accounts. Her banjee look was fun, but it was more wannabe hipster sexy with the flannel. Her Executive look was hot, but it was very been there, done that with Courtney. Her ruby look I expected a bit more from. I liked the overall aesthetic of it but there were more sequins than rubies.

BenDeLaCreme
DeLa showed us some of the same old same old this week, but she was strong. Her banjee look was more hooker than anything but it was fun to see sex kitten DeLa. I'm not sure what she was thinking for her Executive Realness because it was like Victorian chic, but I loved it outside of the category. Her dripping in jewels was the strongest of the night, even though we've seen the showgirl thing before.

Darienne Lake
Darienne bombed the challenge this week. Not one of her looks hit the mark. Banjee realness? What planet are you from? That's like a rave look, not banjee. And that Executive look was just frumpy mom going to work at the bank. And her Princess Leia inspired topaz gown sagged and was extremely unflattering. Every look Darriene has brought to the stage this season has been a variation of the same silhouette and I'm so over it.

Not surprisingly, Adore wins the challenge and I could not be happier. She really deserved that one. In the Bottom Two are DeLa and Darienne which isn't too surprising. The result, however, is shocking. Despite being one of the strongest contestants, DeLa is told to sashay away while the nasty attitude and tired Darienne gets to stay. Judging from the reaction on social media, including past queens, Ru royally fucked up. It's obvious he was told to save Darienne for drama's sake and I'm actually pissed that Ru allowed that to happen. DeLa should have been Top 3 and she was robbed.
