Alesso is one of those DJs you don't hear a lot about but who always makes some great music. The Swedish producer has not done his own solo work in a very long time, but that's all changing. Enlisting the help of fellow Swedish chanteuse Tove Lo, Alesso's new single is a banger.

'Heroes' is certifiably EDM and that's not a bad thing. It's a euphoric and uplifting dance tune. It's not game-changing like Zedd, but it's classic and infectious dance music on par with David Guetta. However, it's Tove Lo's soaring vocals that take the song to new heights.

Over massive synths, Tove Lo's vocals glide and soar creating an anthemic atmosphere that is hard to rival. Once this impacts radio, there's no doubt it's going to dominate. How are the Swedes so talented? Is there something in the water?
