Today just happens to be Amy Winehouse's birthday, and as a posthumous birthday present, Tony Bennett has released the duet that he recorded with Amy, 'Body and Soul', off his upcoming 'Duets II' album today on iTunes.  A part of the proceeds will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.  Apart from the charitability of the single, the song is actually so beautiful and makes my heart break hearing the last "polished" recording from the late Winehouse.  The emotion and soul that is in that voice is incredible, and while I am listening to the song I completely tune out Tony because of the beauty of Amy's voice.  It's just so hauntingly passionate that it resonates deep within you.  Hearing this is such a sad reminder of Amy's far-too-early death, but it is a great way to commemorate her memory.  Please purchase the song (or the bundle with the music video [I, personally, bought the bundle]) on iTunes because, not only do you get to own the last perfected studio recording Amy ever did, you are contributing to a wonderful foundation that Amy's father has set up in her memory.  Buy it HERE.
