Yesterday, Alicia Keys released her new single 'Girl On Fire', as well as the remix featuring Nicki Minaj. Today she released the 'Blue Light Version' which may have instantly become my favorite. This version of the song is a "live acoustic" rendition. It features just Alicia's voice and a few instruments. It's stripped back which allows for the passion to erupt in her vocals and envelop the song. I feel like this version of the song really captures its essence more than any of the others, and shows how talented Alicia is. I love that she released all these different versions of the song, and I cannot wait for her to perform this Thursday night on the MTV VMA's. Make sure you tune in!
