Continuing with riding the wave of the premiere of RuPaul's Drag Race Season V, current contestant Alaska Thunderfuck has released her new collaboration with synthpop duo Candy Apple Blue. The song 'Let's Get Something Started' is a great synthpop song that is a nice change of pace from Alaska's other music because it has a very professional sound, and Alaska really showed off her strong vocals. It's one of those songs that would sound amazing being blasted in a club. It's very entrancing and takes you over. The video directed by Fading Brunette is very simple, with the duo and Alaska giving their fiercest looks towards the camera. And you can't go wrong with a bit of color! After listening to this I'm definitely going to check out more of Candy Apple Blue's music, and I can't wait to hear more from Alaska in the coming months.
