'Waiting For the Night' Music Video by Nelly Furtado

It's safe to say that Nelly Furtado's career isn't exactly what we all want it to be right now. The Spirit Indestructible flopped hard, and she's going on tour in Canada with a few dates in Europe. Nelly has been one of my faves ever since 'I'm Like a Bird' dropped, but she strayed too far with this last album. On the upside, there were some great tracks on the album, and luckily we have gotten a new music video for Nelly's latest single! 'Waiting For the Night' is one of the best songs on the album, and it was amazing when I saw her perform it live. It was one of the biggest crowd pleasers despite it being a brand new track. The video is a great black and white visual. Nelly can be seen doing some Hispanic dances dressed in traditional Latina garb. She looks stunning per usual. The video also has an interesting twist with many of the girls (Nelly included) with half-painted faces which reminds me a lot of Dia de los muertos. It's a hauntingly beautiful visual, and I'm glad Nelly is still gracing us with her talent.
