Today had some of the greatest music announcements ever. To begin with, Britney Spears will not be returning to The X Factor next year. As bummed as I am about that, I'm happy because it means she's focusing on Album 8 and is "seriously considering" going on tour. YAY! And now for the big news. Beyoncé announced on her Facebook page this morning that Destiny's Child will be releasing a new compilation album entitled Love Songs which will contain a BRAND NEW SONG. The definitive girl group of all time will be releasing new music and I'm basically freaking out. And for even bigger news: Justin Timberlake announced that he will be resurrecting his music career this year! He announced on Twitter a moment ago with a new video detailing why it's taken him ten years to release two albums, and now he's ready to release a third. Simply put, the video gave me chills. And even better, there is a countdown on his website for 12am on this coming Monday which is sure to be the release of his first single. The song is rumored to feature Jay-Z and the one and only Beyoncé. As if all that wasn't enough, these two announcement within an hour of each other only adds fuel to the fire that Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams and Justin will be joining Beyoncé on stage at the Super Bowl in February.
