Fans have been clamoring for new music from the pop duo Aly & AJ for years now, ever since they released 'Potential Breakup Song' back in 2007. Their song was one that defined our generation, so now that they're back under the name 78Violet they have a new identity and a new sound. Their new single 'Hothouse' is much different than what I was expecting. It's got more of a country flare to it, a few sprinkles of indie but with a whole lot of spunk. It's a really great track, and I'm excited to hear even more from them. They still look the same, and it's as if we never left them. The video is an epic return, clocking in at almost eight minutes in length. It begins with a voiceover from the girls, setting up the song and the video. If this isn't a triumphant return then I don't know what is.
