'Lose Yourself to Dance' Music Video by Daft Punk featuring Pharrell
Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky' was one of the songs of the summer, and their new album Random Access Memories gives you a sonic high, transporting you to a world where the distant future meets the groovy stylings of the '80s. By far one of my favorite albums of the year. For their next single, Daft Punk once again enlisted the vocal stylings of Pharrell, as well as bringing on board Nile Rodgers to lend a funky guitar to the dance song. Rodgers is a hot commodity right now, also providing guitar for Avicii's collaboration 'Lay Me Down' with Adam Lambert. 'Lose Yourself to Dance' is another great offering from the album, giving us a more laid back version of 'Get Lucky' if you will. It's a great dance song, but it's easier on the ears and gives us that '80s throwback that everyone seems to be loving these days. As for the video, it's pretty simple with Daft Punk and their counterparts rocking out on stage while a mass of people encircle them as they're losing themselves to dance. Does this pseduo-futuristic duo really need to do anything more?
