'Stay the Night' by Zedd featuring Hayley Williams
Following his massive hit 'Clarity' which featured UK singer Foxes, Zedd had a huge task on his hands. For his new song, he chose Paramore front-woman Hayley Williams which I think was a fantastic choice, especially after she was featured on B.o.B.'s mega-hit 'Airplanes' which still gets great airplay three years later. I wish Hayley would quit Paramore because pop music is where she belongs. Her voice just makes for fantastic pop jams. 'Stay the Night' is a rather great dance track, featuring a slick production from Zedd that'll be a huge hit on radio. Hayley's vocals are beautiful and fit right in, but I feel like the chorus is a bit lacking. The song as a whole is fantastic, but I feel like compared to the huge beat, the chorus should have been bigger. It was a bit tame for my tastes. All that being said, there's no doubt that you will be hearing this song on heavy rotation pretty soon.
