BANKS is a new artist who has been getting her name out there with her incredibly fresh style of music. It's like this indie R&B electro-pop cross genre entity that is so unique it's hard to describe. Her voice is deep and guttural, and at times it sounds like Lana Del Rey mixed with some Björk. I recently did a review on The Chainsmoker's remix of The Wanted's track 'We Own the Night', and they recently sent me this new remix they did of BANKS's song 'Change'. This remix gives her signature demure sound some energy without taking away from the lyrics. They put a little hop and a step into the song that makes it a bit more danceable, and more enjoyable.
