Sam Smith is quickly shooting into super stardom and becoming a household name in the U.K. (and hopefully in the U.S. as well with the upcoming release of Naughty Boy's 'La La La'). His debut album In the Lonely Hour is out May 26th but that day couldn't come faster. Smith is a veteran crooner, and his new single 'Stay With Me' shows his forte. The slow-burning piano ballad reinforces everything that makes Smith a star, and the gospel choir in the background adds that extra umph that makes the song perfect. It's rare that an artist can covey just the right emotion through their vocals, but Smith does it effortlessly with every song he releases. His U.S.-tailored EP Nirvana has been on repeat since it was released so I'm ready for new music. Thankfully, I now have 'Stay With Me' to tide me over.
