Diplo and Skrillex, known as Jack Ü, have given us some hot jams including the amazing Missy Elliott remix of the Kiesza-assisted 'Take Ü There'. It seems like surprise releases are the new thing because the duo just released their debut album, Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü, last night.

Among the many features is one from reformed bad boy, Justin Bieber. It's been a while since we've heard anything new from him, and fortunately this new track is a great reintroduction. 'Where Are Ü Now' is an oddity in that it's not a ballad, not yet a banger.

Bieber's solemn vocals weave in and out of the banging beats that accompany the light piano melodies. There's some vocal stuttering going on while hi-hats go off in the distance, but it's really the Canadian's soft vocals that take the spotlight which is not something I'd ever think I'd say. It's different and fresh which I really appreciate.
