RuPaul's Drag Race Season 6: Queens of Talk
After last week's explosion of emotion and Laganja's abysmal performance in the comedy challenge, the remaining seven girls are battling it out in one of the toughest competitions the show has ever seen. On this episode of RuPaul's Drag Race it's arguably one of the gayest episodes yet as the Cher family (minus the goddess herself) make an appearance and guest judge. Also, one of my all-time favs Paula Abdul stops by and guess what? Paula is the most lip synced artist in the herstory of the show. Who'd've thunk it?
For the mini-challenge this week, the girls participate in the game show Hungman with the Scruff Pit Crew much like lastly year's underwear memory game with the Andrew Christian models. I still prefer the Andrew Christian boys because, hello, Brent Corrigan, but this was equally entertaining. Any chance for Ru to get dirty is fun. Basically, the boys' asses are Vanna White's letter board and the queens have to guess the answers to questions. BenDeLaCreme reigns supreme.
The main challenge this week sees the return of the infamous The RuPaul Show that made Ru a household name. The girls have to host and interview Chaz Bono and Georgia Holt. For some this will be easier than others, and we all know Trinity and Joslyn will struggle. In my opinion, these types of challenges are the most difficult because they test so many skills that many queens simply don't have.
Darienne's interview with the family of Cher was surprisingly disappointing. I thought with her comedic charm and quippiness she would do well, but during the interview she was noticeably uncomfortable. She was not comfortable at all during this challenge. For this week's Animal Kingdom runway look, Darienne came out as an elephant in all grey and massive tusk earrings. No matter how much Darienne may falter, she always pulls off her look and I thought she looked stunning. She just needs to work on that nasty attitude.
Adore Delano

DeLa was a major standout this week. I wasn't sure how she was going to fare in the interview, but she came off as very personable and confidant. Following the judges' advice, she's dropped the terminally delightful persona she had going which is sad, but it's nice to see her as a more vulnerable character now. Her runway look this week gagged me. The fly costume was everything and she even had the walk down. Major standout.
Bianca Del Rio
Uh oh. This is the first week we've actually seen Bianca falter. Her interview was decent, but I felt like she could have been more at ease. She also never asked Georgia Holt anything which was a major mistake. However, she of course redeemed herself with her leopard runway look, slaying with the body paint and hair.
Joslyn Fox
Joslyn this week was a mess. Her interview started off awkward and then got better. That is until she asked Georgia her stance on abortion after she almost aborted Cher. What the hell was Joslyn thinking? She should be in the Bottom Two just for that. On the runway she didn't really adhere to criteria as dressing as an animal. In usual fashion she just put on everything she was given. And that meaty tuck? Gurl...
Trinity K. Bonet
I was really rooting for Trinity this week, and as she let us know, hosting her own TV show is something she wants to do in the future. Unfortunately, she just wasn't all that great although she looked gorgeous. On the runway she stunned. She really needs to channel her runway energy into her performances and then she would be golden.
Courtney Act
In all categories, Courtney was the winner this week. Her interview was the most natural and fun to watch. You'd think she'd been hosting a show for years. And then her runway was one of the most dramatic things ever done on the show. The moment when she opened her wings my jaw dropped. Finally Courtney is showing us she can fend for herself in the big leagues.
Unsurprisingly, Courtney was the winner of the main challenge. But then Ru put Trinity and Adore in the Bottom Two. I was shocked to see Adore there, but then I realized that since Paula was a judge this week they did everything they could to get Adore to lip sync in front of her. Even though it wasn't deserved, Adore turned it out and showed how fierce of a lip syncer she is. She ultimately sent Trinity home. Trinity really grew on me the past few weeks so it's sad to see her go. We all know Joslyn is the next to go though...
Next week on Drag Race the show is switching things up a bit. Instead of doing the makeover challenge during the Top 5, the Top 6 this year will have to transform men into drag queens in a special wedding episode (recalling Season 2). And at long last Neil Patrick Harris and his husband Neil Burtka are guest judging so it's gonna be a very sexy episode.
This week Adore's inexperience showed. Like with the comedy challenge, she reverted to being very awkward and spastic, and it just didn't come off well. She didn't seem prepared which has become a recurring issue. Her runway this week wasn't very animalistic, but I did think she would make an amazing Catwoman.
