MisterWives debuted almost exactly a year ago with their debut EP Reflections. The title track was easily one of the best songs of the year, and blogs all around the world hailed them as movers and shakers in the pop world. Well they're getting ready to drop their debut LP and they've released their new single.

'Our Own House' is a flawless piece of disco pop accentuated with MisterWives's signature folk-pop sound. Lead singer Mandy Lee's voice lilts breathlessly over the top giving it a nuanced emotional depth that reads like Katy B or Robyn.

"We built our own house, own house / With the hands over our hearts / And we swore on that day / That it will never fall apart," Lee sings. The song speaks about the family that they have built so far throughout their career, all of the people that have made it possible to do what they are doing. It's a great message accompanied by an insanely catchy melody.
