'Run Away With Me' by Carly Rae Jepsen

Undisputed Queen of Pop Carly Rae Jepsen's second studio album is shaping up to be the Album of the Year. The lead single 'I Really Like You' is still an iconic jam, and at the Songwriters Hall of Fame awards recently Carly confirmed the second single and said it's her favorite song on the album.

Today, the studio version of the song leaked and it's massive. 'Run Away With Me' is officially the second single from Carly's upcoming E·MO·TION album, and it follows in the vein of the previously released album track. The '80s throwback is in full effect here and Carly is going balls to the wall with this one.

The song starts off with a steady pumping beat as Carly sweetly coos over the top, but then the pre-chorus hits and the song aggressively builds until it hits the chorus where the sax gives us a great melody line. The song is a glitzy '80s romper that is high-octane and the perfect song to blare as you're cruising down the highway with the wind in your hair.
