I could not have been more pleased with this video.  Katy seems to really be getting into the realm of the music video and making it something more.  I have been waiting for Katy to release 'Last Friday Night' for a long time now, probably since she released her album 'Teenage Dream' last year, and now the time has come.  The song is already dominating the radio.  This fun and geeky video only adds to its greatness.
In the video, Katy gets a makeover, but not in a good way.  She is transformed into a geeky girl complete with humongous glasses, and braces with the infamous headgear.  Kathy Beth Terry wakes up next to a hot guy and goes on Facebook to see that pictures of her from the party the previous night have been uploaded.  The video then goes back in time to her going to the party, hosted by none other than Rebecca Black, and we meet her love interest, known popularly as Artie from 'Glee'.  Rebecca then gives Katy her makeover and the true party begins.
My favorite scene is the makeover when Katy is getting the wax put on her upper lip, and then as it begins oozing down she licks it.  The look on her face was priceless.  The video is one of the most fun videos I have seen in a long time, and will propel the song into being a summer smash.  I've waited a while for this now and I'm loving every second of it.
