'Who's Laughing Now' Music Video by Jessie J
Jessie J is an unstoppable force right now in music (particularly in Europe) and she has done it once again. Even though she's only released one single in the U.S. so far (soon to be two), Jessie has received much attention and was even asked to perform at the MTV VMAs this past weekend as the band. While we only got to see thirty seconds of her singing before and after commercial breaks I hope that people saw how talented she is. She slayed every song she sang on Sunday night. She was actually more entertaining than some of the acts (*cough*Jay-Z, Kanye West and Chris Brown*cough*). The video for 'Who's Laughing Now' is a lot of fun with vibrant colors, but going along with the theme of the song, it's a big middle finger to all those who tried to put Jessie down on her path to stardom. The video centers around an elementary school version of Jessie being bullied, and then eventually breaks out of her shell and wreaks havoc on the school getting her revenge. I have to say that the young girl who played Jessie did an amazing job, and Jessie herself as the multiple characters was entertaining as well. All around a very solid video.
