Nicki Minaj premiered the first single off her highly-anticipated sophomore album, 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded', on the Ryan Seacrest radio show this morning.  Thinking about Nicki's diverse style, I must say that this could not have been a better choice to usher in her new era.  'Starships' is a great upbeat dance song infused with that signature guitar sound that's beginning to take over in music today.  It even progresses into some heavy, grinding beats towards the middle that adds a great dimension to the song.  Nicki is at the height of her success right now, especially with her collaboration with David Guetta and her controversial performance at the Grammys, and this song is sure to dominate radio in the coming weeks.  Nicki's really redefining what it means to be a rap artist, and I'm loving it.  Can't wait for the video and album!
