The reports came in this evening that Whitney Houston shockingly passed away today, February 11th.  While I have never been a huge fan of Whitney, it is undeniable how much influence she has had on the music industry during her illustrious career.  It is no secret that Whitney has had many personal struggles over the past few years so it's not hard to believe that she has passed away prematurely, but it's still a shock to hear.  The woman has left her stamp on the world of music, and we have her to thank for some of the most popular songs of all time.  R.I.P. Whitney.
