Mariah Carey released the music video for her new single 'Triumphant (Get 'Em)' yesterday, and it's a craptastic video to go with a craptastic song. Since Mimi released the Vintage Throwback Remix of her song, I have not listened to the original once. The Vintage Remix actually gives me chills while the original makes me want to lie down and never wake up again. The original song is just so boring and doesn't even feature Mariah. The video, like the song, is boring as well. Meek Mill is boxing in the video (although we never actually see him box), Rick Ross just walks around dressed like a pimp, and Mariah is one of the sign girls and then sits in the crowd drinking champagne but is hidden most of the time by Rick Ross' large figure. The video goes nowhere and just lies flat like its musical counterpart. I'm very disappointed in Mariah, and I only hope that she releases a video to go with the Vintage Remix and that this video and song never get any attention.
