'Dynamic Drag Duos' by RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race

We are down to the final four and only two teams remain. Team Rujubee and Team Shad are ready to fight it out to become the Queen of All Queens and enter into the Drag Race Hall of Fame. To start the episode off, the girls have to play a game of F-I-S-H, which is basically H-O-R-S-E but drag-ified. Rujubee are skins and Shad are skirts so the girls get into horrific looking day drag and head out to the court. Their looks are actually a little disturbing, and of course since they're playing basketball the girls try to act manly and it becomes even more uncomfortable. Surprisingly, Raven and Juju are great basketball players and completely cream Chad and Channel. Rujubee wins and then the girls head back to the werk-room where Ru drops a bombshell on them: one team will fall into the bottom and have to lip-sync against each other. The competition just got fierce.
For this week's main challenge, Ru tasks the girls with coming up with superhero and villain looks. Each team will have a hero and a villain, and they must create a full back story as well as come up with two looks for the runway. The winners of the challenge will be immortalized as iconic stars in a comic book. I definitely think this is one of the coolest tasks that the girls have ever had to do on Drag Race, and it's also one of the most difficult. We get some hilarious scenes with the girls coming up with their back stories. As always, Chad and Shannel go above and beyond and create these hilariously filthy characters of which I'm shocked even made it onto television. After Ru speaks with them, they realize they need to make it at least somewhat family friendly. Rujubee comes up with really interesting back stories, but their problem is that it's way too detailed and complicated. They live on another planet where the main crux of the story relies on the amount of melanin in people's skin, and like Raven says, no matter what, "Every planet reads." In addition to all this, the girls have to choreograph a dance number and as you would suspect Shannel tries to take over, even though she's admitted numerous times she has no background in dance. The girls are tired of her, and the Raven gif below sums it all up nicely.

First to take the stage was Team Shad. Chad, playing the superhero, comes out in a stunning red dress as her alter ego. She looks gorgeous, plain and simple. Then she transforms into her superhero persona, Fire Crotch. I love everything about the outfit, hair and make-up. Chad is flawless as always. Next, Shannel comes out in a very glamorous black dress. Honestly, it doesn't do anything for me. It's too glam, and doesn't make me feel like that would be her alter ego. Then, she transforms into Lactasia. Her special ability, as you can guess, is lactation. I actually really like her S&M look, although it is a bit much. And I also think that the outfit doesn't complement her figure very well. Honestly, I'm not caring for Team Shad's runway presentation this week. It's forgettable.

Next up is the incredible Rujubee. Jujubee first comes out in a sleek red dress and is serving curves for days. She looks gorgeous, although I've never been a fan of the long straight hair on Juju. She needs something with a bit of volume. Then, she transforms into her superhero alter ego, Melanina. Her superpower is a spray tan gun to make all of her fellow people bronze beauties. I am loving this superhero look as it is exactly what you would see in a comic book. The red hair is just icing on the cake. Finally it's Raven's turn to take the stage. She first comes out in this beautiful blue dress looking like a Beverly Hills cougar. She is absolutely stunning. We know Raven has the dark/sinister look down, but it always surprises me to see how beautiful she can be. Then, she transforms into the villain, Sophia Fierce. WOW! This is by far one of the best looks any contestant has ever done on Drag Race. She competes with Sharon Needles here for best plastic surgery look. She is wearing this incredible black ensemble, and to top it off she's wearing a plastic mask which takes her look to a whole other level. There is no doubt that Rujubee is going to win this challenge.
In a huge turn of events, Team Shad are announced as the winners. What?! I seriously cannot believe they won this challenge. They were just very basic, and I felt they didn't have as strong of a presentation as Rujubee had. That means that Shannel and Chad have both advanced to the finale. Raven and Jujubee are then forced to lip-sync against each other. They are visibly upset, and this is definitely going to be a difficult performance. I have never seen such an emotional lip-sync in all of Drag Race her-story. I had chills the entire time, and I was watching the show with my roommates and we were all dead silent. This performance had such a strong impact that I couldn't even believe it. How can Ru send either of these girls home?! In a HUGE twist, Ru decides that both girls will stay in the competition, and now the finale will be the Final 4. Yay!! Raven for the win. I think we all know that Raven was destined to win this season, but it'll be interesting to see where all the other girls end up ranking. This was such a great episode, and I am so excited to see the grand finale.

Runway Presentation:

Since it was such an incredible performance, I thought I would post the lip-sync performance. Prepare to bawl your eyes out...
