With RuPaul's Drag Race Season 1 coming back to TV this coming Monday, it's almost drag season here on The Magic Critique once again. Although not being on the original season, Courtney Act is one of the queens to be on the upcoming sixth season of Drag Race which is set to premiere in January. It's rumored that she has made it top the Top 3 which wouldn't surprise me in the least. Courtney will be the show's first non-American contestant, originally being from Australia. No matter where she is, Courtney is one of the most popular queens around so it's only fitting she is finally on the best drag platform in the world. She was most recently in the lyric video for Lady Gaga's 'Applause', performing alongside Shangela.
Courtney originally came to fame when she was a semi-finalist on Australian Idol back in 2004 where she performed in drag. That, in it's own right, is huge because we're in 2013 and there still hasn't ever been a drag performer on American Idol. To whet your appetite, here is Courtney's single 'Welcome to Disgraceland' which she released back in 2010. It's a great club song accompanied with a fun video. Courtney is gorgeous as she serves sexy fish, giving the camera lots of face. With her and Laganja Estranja going head-to-head on Season 6 it's going to be a photo finish.
