'Wrecking Ball' Music Video by Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus just debuted the music video for her ballad 'Wrecking Ball', and, appropriately, it slays. 'Wrecking Ball' is one of the best songs that Miley has ever released as it shows off her strong vocals as well as the emotion she can bring to her work. The music video only elevates that. With world-renowned photographer Terry Richardson at the helm, Miley delivers a powerful visual for her song. The video opens with Miley looking directly into the camera and crying. The close-ups of her face throughout the video are the best part as the pain and anguish that her lover has brought on her is fully realized through her face. Other scenes interspersed show an actual wrecking ball that Miley rides on top of, sometimes clothed sometimes not. I'm sure people are gonna blow this whole nudity thing out of proportion so here's my interpretation: Miley's nakedness depicts how totally empty and ruined she feels after this person has scorned her. They have completely broken her down and left her with nothing. I think it's done very tastefully, and this video is going to go down as Miley's most mature work to date. Bangerz is out October 8th, and a few days before on the 5th, Miley will be hosting and performing on Saturday Night Live!
