A few weeks ago, Italian singer Laura Pausini teamed up with Australian pop goddess Kylie Minogue for a surprising duet. 'Limpido' is a pop rock mid-tempo that is unlike anything Kylie has ever released, but she tackles it with ferocity. It reminds me a lot of Nelly Furtado's Spanish music (especially her album Mi Plan). Kylie sings in English while Laura sings in Italian, and the duet is impressively cohesive, Kylie powering through and proving that she can sing anything. The music video was just released, and it's a visual feast. It's a slick video that is very artistic and strikingly beautiful. This is great to tide you over until Kylie finally releases a new album which I hope will be soon.
